Public appointments in other Government departments
The Appointments Commission manages public appointments recruitment campaigns on behalf of an increasing number of other Government Departments. The posts offered are primarily for national bodies that shape policy or help deliver public services. There are many opportunities for people with a wide range of backgrounds, skills and expertise and who share a common wish to make a real contribution.
Commission clients have included the Home Office, Defra and Department for Constitutional Affairs and discussions are taking place with other Departments about their public appointments requirements.
